United Airlines’ mainline fleet is larger than that of any other carrier worldwide. According to ch-aviation, its fleet includes 61 Boeing 757s, making the Star Alliance member the second-largest passenger user of the narrowbody type after Delta Air Lines. United has 40 757-200s and 21 757-300s, all ex-Continental. Cirium Diio data shows United’s average 757 flight will cover 1,890 nautical miles (3,500 km) between May and December, dragged down by its high-capacity 757-300s, which do not operate long-haul.
