Simple Flying was invited to attend a unique Earth Day-oriented event at Wizz Air’s Budapest crew and pilot training facility in late April. While the event was centered around the announcement of Wizz Air’s long-term sustainability strategy, the event also gave Simple Flying the unique opportunity to tour the airline’s principal training facility. Located near the grounds of Budapest Airport (BUD), this facility offers extensive spaces for pilot and crew training, making it an essential piece of Wizz Air’s personnel development infrastructure.
