The world’s first solar power plant installed on an operational railway line has been officially switched on in the Neuchâtel mountains in Switzerland.
Peru’s Ministry of Transport and Communications (MTC) will evaluate a proposal from Ferrocarril Trasandino to modernise railway infrastructure in the south of the country. The concessionaire estimates the investment at USD 800 million.
