The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) provides the numbers of how, when, and where America flies. Note that many of these figures are for 2019 – before the numbers crashed during the pandemic (the most recent numbers are for 2022 and were still recovering). The FAA is responsible for regulating aviation in the United States – including aviation safety (they have recently established a new aviation review safety team).
