Why Alaska Airlines Wants To Increase Its Collaboration With oneworld

In many ways, membership in an airline alliance can be a carrier’s most valuable asset, as it allows them to extend their operational networks and cater to far more passengers than they could otherwise. One of the largest global airline alliances, oneworld, was founded on February 1, 1999, and it currently consists of 14 different member airlines. As a result, membership in this alliance allows each airline to serve far more destinations than it otherwise could.
