The importance of practical and effective pilot training cannot be understated, as is motivating pilots to enter this fascinating career field. The difficulty, however, is convincing prospective pilots to enter a career field that requires years of costly training to begin flying for airlines that offer young pilots brutal schedules with lower-than-average salaries. In the United States, most pilots are required to have a four-year degree, which typically will come along with tens of thousands in student debt.
