When Emirates revealed yesterday that it would be branching out into the field of package delivery, many assumed that it was little more than a harmless April Fool’s joke. After all, the UAE flag carrier did so with a rather implausible photograph depicting one of its Airbus A380s parked on a suburban street. However, the airline has since revealed that its announcement had more than an element of truth.
