Over the past month and a half, the set of trade tariffs put in place by Donald Trump’s administration, as well as the retaliatory measures put in place by nations like Canada and those of the European Union, have led aircraft manufacturers to evaluate the potential long-term impacts of these import barriers. Manufacturers like Boeing and Airbus import a large portion of the components that go into constructing their aircraft models, and most of their sales are in export markets.
