LEGO Group’s executive airline closed its corporate jet division at the end of February this year. A sharp decline in demand combined with the company’s increasing focus on environmental impact has led to the close of the corporate jet division. It all began with the purchase of a small land in Billund, Denmark, in 1961, leading to the building of a private airfield a few years later. In 1964, it was inaugurated as a public airport.
