Another disturbing incident has come to light about a passenger becoming violent onboard an airplane, physically assaulting at least two people on an American Airlines flight. Co-incidentally, the flight in question was the same Wichita-Washington service that was involved in the fatal midair collision in January.

On April 3rd, Emirates reintroduced another Airbus A380 to service. The specific airframe was A6-EDF, which is about 19 years old and nearly double the average age of the carrier’s superjumbos. Its return to service saw an initial round-trip service between Dubai and Cairo. While it was the seventh A380 ever to be built, it was the sixth A380 delivered to the Gulf carrier; those that arrived sooner have since been retired or stored.
