Boeing Removes Stephanie Pope As Chief Operating Officer

Boeing, after years of challenges, has made a major strategic leadership change, one which has come as a result of an operational restructuring process that aims to address the production and safety challenges plaguing its commercial aircraft division. Boeing Commercial Airplanes is the company’s most important subdivision, and it generates the most revenue for the company. The key element of this management change is the removal of executive Stephanie Pope from the company’s c-suite so that she can instead focus entirely on the recovery and financial stabilization of the troubled Boeing Commercial Airplanes division.
