The Gulfstream G280 is a twin-engine mid-sized business jet designed by Gulfstream Aerospace and built by Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI). The two companies got together in 2005 to build a follow-on version of the Gulfstream G200. The manufacturer aimed to improve the wing, engines, cabin, and cockpit. Initially named G250, the type performed its maiden flight in December 2009 in Tel Aviv, Israel.
