Carriage 4001 Replica Returns To Stage

Newcastle’s Theatre Royal is set to house a replica of a historic Tyne and Wear train, carriage 4001, once again.

Due to safety concerns following numerous incidents, a level crossing near the Metrocentre in Gateshead has been closed.

On Monday, 8th December, the Tyne and Wear Metro started a three-month trial of free Wi-FI at its Central Station in Newcastle city centre.
