Shropshire rail station benefits from new access improvements

Last Friday (21 February), Ludlow station in Shropshire opened its new lift.

While carrying out work in connection with an Access for All’ upgrade at Walkden station, engineers discovered some historic mine shafts.

As part of a £5.75 million investment by Transport for Greater Manchester, two new lifts have been installed on Irlam station.

A £9 million investment into improving Grays station in Essex has been completed.
