Air France had 10 Airbus A380s. Its first example arrived in 2009, while its last aircraft was welcomed in 2014. For obvious reasons, Air France was the European launch customer; non-commercial considerations undoubtedly partly influenced its decision-making. The type entered revenue service from Paris CDG to New York JFK in November 2009.
