Following the announcement of an order for more than 200 new aircraft on Monday, American Airlines could eliminate the beloved seatback screens installed on select Airbus A319s. Accompanying its stunning order, the Fort Worth, Texas-based carrier said it would retrofit its existing A319s and A320s to address the “growing demand for a premium travel experience.”
