On Friday, January 31st, a Learjet 55 operated by Jet Rescue Air Ambulance crashed in northeast Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The aircraft departed from Northeast Philadelphia Airport (PNE) and was scheduled to fly to Springfield-Branson National Airport (SGF). However, less than 45 seconds after it departed the Philadelphia airport, the aircraft began a steep nose dive. The aircraft then impacted the ground almost vertically, resulting in the death of all six occupants of the aircraft and one person on the ground. The crash also resulted in injuries to over twenty people.
