The Cirrus Vision SF50, also known as the Vision Jet, is a very light business jet designed and developed by Cirrus Aircraft. The first prototype of the single-engine design took to the skies in July 2008. Following a slow development, the first conforming prototype flew in March 2014. After a comprehensive flight test campaign, the type received its US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) type certificate in October 2016.
