David Coulthard, Formula One racing car driver, has spoken out on the plane crash he survived almost 25 years ago. He had a successful racing career in the mid-90s with Williams and McLaren. It was just before the 2000 Spanish Grand Prix on May 2nd, 2000. He had chartered an aircraft from Northern Executive Aviation but decided that he needed to get back to Monaco as quickly as possible. So, they sent a Learjet 35A with registration G-MURI, owned by friend David Murray, former chairman of the Rangers Football Club. What actually happened?
