Currently, four ( F-35, F/A-18, F-15, and F-16) United States frontline fighter jets are in production by two companies (Lockheed Martin and
Boeing). Additionally, the new B-21 Raider strategic bomber is also in low-rate production by Northrop Grumman. Northrop (and other contractors like General Atomics) is also producing advanced combat UAVs, but these are outside the scope of this article. So how many fighter jets did the United States industry produce in 2024?
