In mid-2024, Simple Flying reported that France’s Dassault was planning to increase its production of the increasingly popular Dassault Rafale multirole fighter jet. Dassault had planned to increase fighter jet production from two to three per month by the end of 2024. Dassault appears to have missed the target, as it has now revealed it managed to deliver a total of 21 Rafales. Meanwhile, it received another 30 orders from export customers further growing its backlog.
