On January 20, Royal Air Maroc launched its longest regular non-stop service, from Casablanca to Beijing Daxiing. It is the oneworld carrier’s only Asian route, excluding the Middle East. It is a resumption, as Morocco’s flag carrier very briefly served China’s capital before the pandemic. Its return came a day after Shanghai Airlines inaugurated Shanghai-Marseille-Casablanca flights.
