The Irish Air Accident Investigation Unit (AAIU) has issued a final report into the events of April 7, 2022, involving a 21-year-old Boeing 767-322ER with registration N670UA in the care of United Airlines, as pictured above. According to the AAIU, the 767 had an in-flight emergency when an oil leak at cruising altitude caused the shut down of one of the 767’s two engines and, on landing, caused a small fire.
