The Blackburn Buccaneer is a British attack aircraft designed specifically for maritime nuclear strikes. The mid-wing twin-engine Buccaneer performed its first flight in April 1958 and entered service with the Royal Navy (RN) in July 1962. The manufacturer built 211 examples of the iconic aircraft.
