Piper Aircraft is one of the most prominent general aviation aircraft manufacturers in the world. It is often considered to be one of the “Big Three” of general aviation aircraft manufacturers, alongside Cessna and Beechcraft, which are both owned by a parent company called Textron Aviation. The company has been responsible for the production of many popular aircraft, including piston-powered trainer aircraft and state-of-the-art turboprop-powered planes.
