The United States Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Administrator, Mike Whitaker, said that Boeing needs a “fundamental cultural shift” to prioritize safety and quality over profits. This comes as the FAA chief posts an online blog post marking the one-year anniversary of an incident in which a door plug detached from an Alaska Airlines Boeing 737 MAX 9 aircraft.
