What Countries Have Acquired The Eurofighter Typhoon?

The Eurofighter Typhoon is one of the world’s most capable fourth-generation fighter jets and was built to overmatch its Soviet counterparts. The jet is also among the world’s most expensive – costing around $124 million per unit (fly-away cost). That is more expensive than the flyaway cost of any variant of the F-35 Lightning II (although the F-35 comes with substantially higher operating costs). Still, the Eurofighter Typhoon is one of the most expensive jets in the world, meaning that the F-16 is a more affordable option for air forces lacking deep pockets.
