Developed by General Dynamics in the 1970s, the F-16 Fighting Falcon remains today as the backbone of the United States Air Force (USAF), with more F-16s in service today than any other kind of fighter aircraft. A multirole all-weather fighter capable of performing a myriad of missions while also offering impressive reliability and combat capabilities, the F-16 has unsurprisingly become one of the jets that the USAF relies on.
