Great Power Competition: How Are The US Air Force & Space Force Restructuring?

The United States Air Force is currently undergoing a major set of restructuring reforms aimed at increasing the Air Force’s readiness, better optimizing its command structure, making it more agile, and more. Currently, the United States Air Force remains the world’s largest air force ( followed by the US Navy/Marine Corps aviation branches). However, the Chinese Air Force (PLAAF & PLANAF) is rapidly rising – China’s annual fighter jet production may now meet or exceed that of the United States (especially after fighter jets for export are deducted).
