On December 19th, 2024, 
United Airlines announced a sizable expansion of its domestic and international network from Denver International Airport (DEN), the third-busiest airport in the nation and a major fortress hub for the airline. The centerpiece of this expansion will be a new 5,563-mile nonstop seasonal service from the airport to Rome’s Fiumicino International Airport (FCO), which will be the first to connect the two airports.
