European Union Bans Air Tanzania Due To Safety Concerns

The European Union (EU) has blacklisted Air Tanzania from operating in EU airspace due to concerns over the airline’s inadequate safety practices. Although Tanzania’s national carrier does not currently operate any routes to European destinations, it has been seeking to obtain the necessary permissions to launch new routes to Europe.
