The US and Japan have signed a memorandum to increase cooperation between their naval electronic attack squadrons. The agreement will entail more bilateral operations and training between Japan’s Air Reconnaissance Squadron (VQ) 81 and US Task Force 70 electronic warfare assets to strengthen integrated capabilities between the two countries.
