Sudan telecoms regulator partners with Sudatel and NGOs to Aid relief efforts

The European Commission (EC) revealed it is investigating UAE-based operator group e&’s acquisition of Czech telecoms company PPF Telecom’s assets, due to concerns on how the group may be benefitting from state cash injections, reported Reuters.

Officials from China, Myanmar and Thailand have reportedly reached a consensus on eradicating telecommunication fraud centres in Myanmar, a country with a long-standing fraud problem, exacerbated by the ongoing war in that country.
