As northern hemisphere airlines calm down after a hectic summer, their thoughts turn to seasonal services in the south, such as the move by Cathay Pacific to resume flights from Hong Kong to Christchurch in the South Island of New Zealand. The seasonal service resumed on Monday, and this year, Cathay Pacific is offering 88% more seat capacity than last season and is operating the route until the end of March 2025.
