Dr. Phil McGraw or Dr. Phil, as he is more commonly known, is an American TV personality and author, best known for hosting his own show of the same name. He rose to fame with appearances on The Oprah Winfrey Show and she later helped him to create his own show in 2002, giving psychological advice to viewers. He has a doctorate in clinical psychology but is no longer in practice.
