China’s PLAAF Will Shorten The Time It Takes To Become A Fighter Pilot

The People’s Republic of China (PRC) People’s Liberation Army Air Force (PLAAF) is working to shorten the time needed to be a PLAAF fighter pilot. In a November 2024 Air University China Aerospace Studies Institute paper picked up by Air & Space Forces Magazine on November 26, the PLAAF flight academies are accelerating pilot production – which is being helped by a new jet trainer.
