On Monday, February 26, the United States Department of Transportation (USDOT) announced that passenger airlines that are based in China will be allowed to boost their weekly flights to the United States. Currently, Chinese passenger airlines can operate up to 35 weekly round-trip flights to the US. However, beginning on March 31, the USDOT will boost the weekly flights to 50 total flights.
