Allegiant Air was founded in 1997 and is a leisure low-cost carrier. Since its founding nearly 30 years ago, the airline has grown its network to more than 120 destinations. Though Allegiant only has scheduled operations in the United States, it has the approval for charter flights to Canada and Mexico.
