2 USAF B-52Hs Join 2 RAF Typhoon FGR4s & Voyager Air-To-Air Refueler On Mission Over Arabian Peninsula

Amid numerous conflicts in the Middle East and the ever-present risk of escalation in the region, the United States Air Force has demonstrated a show of force with B-52s escorted by RAF Typhoon Eurofighters over the Arabian Peninsula conducted on November 18. These are not the only US strategic bombers to make their appearance recently in the Middle East. In October 2024, B-2 Spirits were used in combat for the first time in 7 years to drop the largest bunker-buster bomb in American inventory on Houthis in Yemen as a warning to Iran.
