Could NSW Trainlink be rolled into Sydney Trains?

Talk across social networks of a pending change to the way rail passenger services are delivered in NSW.

It has been suggested NSW TrainLink could be abolished and rolled into Sydney Trains. Cost savings to go wage increases. This will mean redundancies for NSW TrainLink positions that won’t be transferred.

Some have suggested:

The whole bloody thing should be outsourced and contracted to a private provider, who should also be given the freedom to bring in non-union contract labour if required. That’s the only way to break the stranglehold of the RTBU.

I guess time to reveal what really happens with the NSW Regional Services.
