The Airbus A318 is the smallest member of Airbus’ A320 family of aircraft and also its least popular model, with just 80 built. Air France was the largest operator of the type with up to 18 planes in its fleet, while other notable operators included avianca, Frontier Airlines and Mexicana.

On June 28th, an Air France Airbus A350 flying from Paris to Chicago had to turnaround after passing Iceland! The diversion essentially gave crew and passengers a seven hour flight to nowhere.
