US Approves $4.9 Billion Sale Of 4 Boeing E-7 Wedgetail AEW&C Aircraft To South Korea

The US State Department has approved the sale of four Boeing E-7 Wedgetail Airborne Early Warning & Control Aircraft (AEW&C) to South Korea. Meanwhile, the US Air Force is asking Boeing to rapidly build prototypes so that it can expedite the introduction of the type into the US Air Force.
