A recent Air Force accident investigation report revealed the causes of the high-profile crash of a $450-million B1-B bomber that occurred early this year. On January 4, 2024, a B-1B bomber crashed during landing at Ellsworth Air Force Base in South Dakota. While all four crew members survived the crash after ejecting safely, an explosion and fire consumed the aircraft.
