On Friday, February 23, an Iberia Airbus A350-900 was diverted to Gran Canaria International Airport (LPA) due to a medical emergency. The flight was scheduled from Buenos Aires Ministro Pistarini International Airport (EZE) to Adolfo Suárez Madrid–Barajas Airport (MAD). However, it was back on the ground just under ten hours after departure.
