Embraer is one of the world’s largest aircraft manufacturers, trailing only Boeing and Airbus. The Brazilian company produces some of the most popular regional jets in the world. This includes the original Embraer Regional Jet (ERJ) series, which includes the ERJ 135, ERJ 140, and the ERJ 145. These aircraft can each transport 37 passengers, 44 passengers, and 50 passengers, respectively. However, the company retired the ERJ series in 2020 after nearly 1,250 total aircraft were built.
