For fiscal year 2024, Qantas reported a profit of A$2.08 ($1.37) billion, down slightly from the A$2.47 ($1.62) billion seen the previous year. This change was driven by increased investments aimed at enhancing customer service, moderating fare prices, and lower freight revenue. Despite these adjustments, the airline remains financially strong and fully committed to advancing Project Sunrise, its bold venture into ultra-long-haul flights between Sydney, New York, and London.
