On October 31st, 2024, Dallas/Fort Worth-based legacy carrier 
American Airlines announced that members of its airline loyalty program, AAdvantage, would soon enjoy a new streamlined security process at Transportation Security Administration (TSA) checkpoints. With new TSA PreCheck Touchless ID available, AAdvantage members will be eligible to fly through security checkpoints at many US airports.
