Halloween has never really been known as the biggest travel Holiday of the year, but there are still a few destinations that see increased traffic throughout the week surrounding the scary holiday. Two cities in the United States with storied histories often welcome thousands of tourists each Halloween who are in search of a memorable experience.

It’s definitely not a type of incident that is commonly reported. Sure, smoke in the cabin – or the smell of burning is reported every now and then – as is the occasional oven/galley fire. However, water pouring from the ceiling is even more rare.However, that seems to be what happened on a United Airlines flight out of San Francisco. Headed for Tokyo, the crew turned the jet around, diverting back to SFO.
