Keeping The Skies Safe: How To Become A Federal Air Marshal

The Federal Air Marshal Service has existed since 1961. But, following the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001, the service was moved under the jurisdiction of the recently-created Department of Homeland Security (DHS). The service has grown from under 40 marshals to several thousand following this move.
