The Airbus A380 is the largest passenger aircraft ever made. Following the success of the Boeing 747, which was the first double-decker passenger aircraft, Airbus decided to create an aircraft that would rival Boeing’s. The A380 first flew in 2005 and was first delivered to airlines in 2007.
